Lion Federal team has been working diligently at Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to design, develop, and deliver a trade facing application. This application allows the trade to file their exports with Census and CBP. After a little over a year of development, the application went live to the trade right after Thanksgiving. Census is encouraging their thousands of users to switch over from the legacy system to this modernized platform. This is a big win for the Lion Federal team, which continues to get praises from their customer and the trade for the modernization!
Lion Federal sponsored an event for FACETS, a charity organization that works to prevent and end homelessness in Fairfax County. All kinds of donated items, from vineyard experiences to limo rides to complete vacations for the family, were auctioned to raise funds for this invaluable organization. All events were donated by local individuals and businesses.

Lion Federal was formally accepted by the Small Business Administration (SBA) into the 8(a) Program! Lion Federal can now provide talented resources at a cost saving to their federal government customers by obtaining its first official contract vehicle. This allow their customers to eliminate the additional tiers of companies.
Lion Federal was able to secure a sub-contract by providing difficult resources to a large prime in the Defense Industry. This contract provides Infrastructure Engineering Design Services to an agency in the IC. The prime has asked Lion Federal to help staff other resource needs as a result of the quality of candidates.
Lion Federal becomes a Sustaining Partner Sponsor to FACETS, a charity organization that helps parents, their children and individual who suffer the effects of poverty in Fairfax County, Virginia. Lion Federal sponsored FACETS at their Opening Doors Benefits Breakfast event on April 30th, 2015. There were over 500 supporters at the event, including multiple city and state government officials. "Events like the FACETS Opening Doors Benefits Breakfast are an excellent way for us to give back to the community," says Chris Danielson, a Lion Federal consultant at Customs and Border Protection.
Lion Federal wins a sub-contract agreement to a large prime contractor in IC on an IDIQ. Lion Federal has expanded its relationships with another big prime to help them staff their large IDIQ contract.
