Lion Federal wins a sub-contract from a partnering company at U.S. Pharmacopeial Convention (USP) for Java/J2EE development. USP is a scientific nonprofit organization that sets standards for medicines, food ingridients, and dietary supplements.
Lion Federal sponsored an event for FACETS, a charity organization that works to prevent and end homelessness in Fairfax County. All kinds of donated items, from vineyard experiences to limo rides to complete vacations for the family, were auctioned to raise funds for this invaluable organization. All events items were donated by local individuals and businesses.
Lion Federal was able to secure a sub-contract by providing difficult resources to a large prime at Customs and Border Protection (CBP). This contract provides development support on the Automated Export System at CBP.
Lion Federal becomes a Sustaining Partner Sponsor to FACETS, a charity organization that helps parents, their children and individual who suffer the effects of poverty in Fairfax County, Virginia. Lion Federal sponsored FACETS at their Opening Doors Benefits Breakfast event on April 21, 2016. There were over 500 supporters at the event, including multiple city and state government officials. "FACETS Opening Doors Benefits Breakfast is a great way to give back", says Jay Berthe, a Lion Federal consultant at Customs and Border Protection.
Lion Federal developed application, Automated Export System Direct (AESDirect), goes live to all trade users. Thousands of users are now able to file their exports with US Census and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) through this Lion Federal modernized application. The trade can now login into the CBP Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) system, and go directly into AESDirect to file their export information. This application was built for both the US Census for statistical purposes and for CBP to screen exports.
