Lion Federal is proud to announce the addition of Laura Ward to its HR team as an intern this November. Laura, currently pursuing a degree in Management and Human Resource Management at Virginia Tech, is assisting the HR team with various responsibilities, including technical recruiting and HR-related tasks. Lion Federal and Ventera Corporation’s Joint Venture, DigiCloud Services, LLC has begun work on the General Services Administration Office of Inspector General’s Cloud Migration Services contract. Our team is migrating GSA’s on-premises legacy systems to Microsoft 365 and Azure. The scope of this work will include O365, SharePoint, Teams Voice, organizational device management, network file migration, and security assurance.
Lion Federal was awarded the Army Resilience Directorate Information Technology Support Services contract as the prime. Our team will provide ITSS for ARD systems as a prime contractor to ensure that systems are fully compliant with the Department of Defense, the US Army and the hosting facilities' policies and regulations. We will support this very important mission of the Army's Drug and Alcohol management information system, Risk Reduction Application, and Systems Branch, ARD Websites. ITSS services will include maintenance, sustainment, security, help desk, training, and data analysis of ARD systems.

The Lion Federal Back-Office Team volunteered with FACETS to distribute food to the homeless in Fairfax County. The team used a FACETS van loaded with pizza, fruit and water to deliver more than 120 meals to those in need. The team was honored to be part of such a great cause. This event is one of two big events to help raise funds to support this organization that makes a difference in over 1000 lives in Fairfax County.
